Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GeoContextAI platform ("Service") operated by GeoContextAI Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), registered in Sydney, Australia.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service Does

GeoContextAI monitors what AI platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and others) say about your brand in response to buyer-intent queries. We extract mentions, analyse sentiment and positioning, detect hallucinations, and provide recommendations to improve your AI visibility.

The Service provides informational insights only. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes, rankings, or changes in AI platform behaviour.

2. Accounts

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
  • One account per person. Do not share credentials or create multiple accounts.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

3. Free and Paid Plans

The Service offers a free tier with limited credits and features. Paid plans provide additional credits, platforms, and capabilities. Plan details and pricing are displayed on our website and may change with notice.

  • Credits are consumed when queries are sent to AI platforms. One credit = one query to one platform.
  • Unused credits do not roll over between billing periods unless stated otherwise.
  • We may modify plan limits with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
  • Scrape, resell, or redistribute data obtained through the Service.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
  • Abuse rate limits or intentionally overload the Service.
  • Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm any person or organisation.
  • Create accounts using false or misleading information.

5. Your Data

  • Your brand data: Company names, URLs, competitor information, and prompts you provide remain yours. We use this data solely to operate the Service for you.
  • AI responses: Responses collected from AI platforms are stored to provide you with analysis and historical trends. These responses are generated by third-party AI platforms and are not our content.
  • Analysis and reports: The insights, metrics, and recommendations we generate are part of the Service. You may use them internally for your business purposes.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, algorithms, and documentation, is owned by GeoContextAI Pty Ltd. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond the right to use the Service as intended.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party AI platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity, etc.) to generate responses. We do not control these platforms and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or changes to their services. If a third-party platform changes its API or terms, we may need to adjust or temporarily suspend related features.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We do not guarantee that AI insights are accurate, complete, or will produce specific business results. AI platforms can change their responses at any time.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or AUD $100, whichever is greater.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

9. Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard settings.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably practicable.
  • Upon termination, your access to the Service ends. We may retain anonymised, aggregated data for analytics purposes.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
